The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) units are designed to remove oil, grease, solids and/or flocs from the wastewater which do not have sufficient buoyancy to float.
The flotation units are robustly built and characterised by large "free surface" areas. For wastewater containing large solids contents, the design provides sufficient retention time for separation and pre-dewatering of the skimming.
In the GPL unit suspended solids, fats, oils, non-dissolved constituents and settling materials are removed from the water. The design of the GPL series is based on the elimination of hydraulic disturbances, resulting in a steady and laminar flow in the entire unit.
The KCF flotation units are robustly built and very compact, designed for treating large water flows. They remove suspended solids and other (flocculated) materials in a very effective way.
The KCL units work according to both the counter-current as the crossflow principle. The unique design of the interval plate packs allows the water flow to be divided over all plate sections evenly, and at the same time creating a large separation surface inside the unit resulting in optimal separat
The KWF flotation units are very compact due to the use of plate packs, they remove in an efficient manner suspended solids, oil and grease and other (flocculated) materials. The plate packs increase the effective separation surface, resulting in better separation and a smaller required floor area.
The Colubris MWL flotation units are robustly built and characterized by a large free surface. The design of the units guarantees sufficient retention time for separation and dewatering of sludge, even for highly polluted waste water.
